UNCOVERED

Key Elements, one of Singapore's well-known jazz/pop a cappella group, has always loved pushing boundaries and taking challenges. For their 2^nd full-length album, the group decided to do what no other a cappella group has done in Singapore – record an album of all-originals. No cover versions. Hence the album title “Uncovered – a treasure trove of original works”.

Featuring 11 original songs composed and arranged by co-founding member Jason Ong, this album also sees a change in members : soprano Gail joined the group in 2011 and vocal percussionist Cherie became the group's newest member in 2013. So it was only natural that the members discover things about each other (even among the older members) while recording this album.

“Uncovered” represents a fresh new start for Key Elements who, having faced challenges and changes in their line up over the past few years, have recovered their momentum and sense of fun.
